Positioning that compounds, instead of advertising that never stops.

Brand architecture decides what a company means before it decides what it says. Positioning, identity system and communication design, drawn as one structure so every asset built afterwards reinforces the same claim.

What this is for

The situations founders arrive with

01

The claim changes every quarter

Three agencies, four decks and a founder who explains the company differently depending on who is asking. Nothing accumulates because nothing stays still.

02

Identity was designed, not architected

A logo exists. A system does not. Every new asset is a fresh negotiation, and consistency depends on whoever happens to be briefing that week.

03

Spend buys attention, not position

Performance marketing works while it runs and stops working the day it stops. There is no held ground underneath it.

A brand that has to be advertised continuously to stay in mind was never positioned. It was rented.

The engagement

5 stages, each with a written deliverable.

Scope, fee and dates are fixed in the agreement before work begins. There are no open-ended engagements here.

01

Brand audit

Everything the market currently receives, read together: assets, messaging, pricing, sales conversations, reviews and competitor position. Written findings, not impressions.

02

Positioning strategy

The single claim the business can own and defend, chosen against category reality rather than aspiration, with the reasons it holds documented.

03

Identity architecture

The visual and verbal system that carries the position: naming logic, hierarchy, typography, colour, tone and the rules for extending all of it.

04

Communication design

How the position shows up across channels, campaigns and sales material, so execution stops being reinvented for every brief.

05

Handover and governance

A guidelines document your team and any future agency can work from, plus a review cadence for the first year.

Questions

Asked before every mandate.

How long does it take?+

Eight to fourteen weeks depending on the number of business units and how much internal research already exists. The timeline is fixed in the agreement before work starts.

Do you execute the campaigns afterwards?+

The architecture is the engagement. Execution can be run by your team, your agency or by us under a separate scope. The guidelines are written to be usable by any of the three.

What if we already have a brand book?+

It gets audited like anything else. Where it holds, it stays. Most brand books document decoration rather than position, which is usually what the audit finds.
